An update

Again, I apologize for the delayed update.

    Life has been strange and fast paced, and I am only able to do so much. I thought I would take this time to justify my absence by providing a quick synopsis of what has been going on in my personal life.

    I have recently begun my first medical job as an onsite EMT for an undisclosed mega corporation. The job so far is quite relaxed, and my coworkers are quite friendly. Thanks to this mega corporation's bonus, I'll be able to afford a nice ring for my soon to be fiancée and a watch for myself to celebrate the occasion. I fit somewhere in the middle of this corporate sphere as a blue-collar worker and a white collar corpo. I rank in the middle of the pack as far as the company is concerned and I am one level below my managerial counterparts. Thanks to my degree and absolutely immaculate personality (that's a joke btw) I have been deemed an "intellectual" and a good fit for moving up in the company if I so choose.

    

    On a separate note, the Marine Corps has decided to do some very frustrating things after I broke my femur in training, and I am unable to accurately discuss and/or provide details about the current situation thanks to the contract that is still in effect. 

    

    To counter that despair and frustration, I will end on two positive notes. I have successfully restored a shelf and I have also taken it upon myself to raise a cat and 4 kittens that have decided to set up home, where I usually smoke cigars. It is thanks to their presence that I have been unable to smoke where I live, and although that is quite frustrating, as long as they eat the food I provide and stop hissing at me, the tradeoff is well worth it.
